DELIVER A
BETTER VAN?
THE PROBLEMS
Delivery was broken, and we aimed to fix it.
POLLUTING THE PEOPLE
Diesel Delivery trucks produce nearly half of urban NOx pollution, linked to Cancer and Asthma, even though they are a small fraction of vehicles. UNSAFE WORK ENVIRONMENT FOR DRIVERS
Most delivery vans today lack modern safety features like Airbags and ABS, or basic comforts like A/C, Infotainment and Productivity apps.PACKAGE DELIVERY IS CLOGGING OUR CITIES
Freight vehicles make up around 15 % of urban traffic but occupy up to 40 % of street space during deliveries, blocking lanes and sidewalks and worsening congestion as parcel demands soar.CLEAN LINES, CLEANER AIR
Designed to move with us, the Brightdrop van can safely coexist from the warehouse or the busiest streets without adding pollution to our air, eyes, and ears.
A SAFER, JOB OPTIMIZED COCKPIT
A layout that puts the driver first, with intuitive controls, better visibility, clever package staging, and a safer, more comfortable workspace.
URBAN DELIVERY THAT WORKS
In testing with FedEx, the Brightdrop Trace System improved delivery efficieny by 40%. The powered carts reduce injuries in drivers, and can be remotely opened as a locker for applications like grocery pickup. A CANVAS FOR YOUR BRAND
With fleet clients as diverse as America itself, it was important that the design language could appeal across multiple brands. The minimal forms provide a modern canvas that elevates any brand.
THE FUTURE OF DELIVERY HAS ARRIVED
Clean, quiet, zero emissions, and designed around people first. A van that that finally matches how cities move, and is ready to get to work.
